Empty Room Systems has released the EMpTy 250 software reverb. After months of research and tweaks version 1.0 of this reverb, based on the first digital reverb machine (the EMT-250), is available. Version 2.0 is on the horizon and will add a lot of amazing new features and GUI.

GUI version 2.0

The EMT-250 is known for the very sweet character of its reverb and is used on a lot of famous recordings. It is the favorite reverb for a lot of award winning engineers. Real EMT-250’s are rare and other solutions for obtaining similar results were expensive or unnecessarily complex - until now! With the release of EMpTy 250 this ear candy becomes affordable for each studio and engineer!

EMpTy 250 is available as a VST-plugin and as a patch for the Eventide® H8000 and H7500. The plugin can be used in any DAW software supporting Steinberg®'s VST-format and does not need any internal DSP card, external box or dongle or special drivers to function. A demo version, which is fully functional, but inserts noise into the output signal, is available for evaluation of the reverb.
